If we look back to the start of the 20th century, we see many parallels with our current age. It’s a frightening time of fast-paced change when everything we know about the world is in upheaval. John Nosta takes the time to draw lessons from the disruption experienced a century ago and shows us that we have grounds for optimism.

In 1917 airplanes were terrifying, scarce and new. The average person couldn’t imagine ever having a chance to fly… and probably wouldn’t want to.
